These screenshots show an old version of fotoalbum, but its appearance has not changed so much.
While the mouse points at a picture in group view, a tooltip shows additional information. Two pictures are marked for batch processing.
When viewing a picture (of course fullscreen is possible) additional information is shown — you can easily hide it, but it can also provide EXIF data (not shown here).
