Some time ago I had a page describing some cool things I like about windowmaker; it also included some patches to make it behave even better. However, I stopped using it because its development seemed to have stopped.
After looking for an alternative (requirements: fast, lightweight, usable via keyboard, configurable, pipe menus), I switched to openbox.
