The first portable was small and light — but too small and light to be used on ones lap. It wasn’t comfortable, versatile, and usable enough, too. Therefore:

rectangular base. This may not look fancy, but is essential for versatility.

key boards can be rotated to adjust for different use cases
Again, this can use/uses the same key boards and controllers as the other ones currently in use: desktop1 desktop2
It is not really finished yet, because QMK’s bluetooth support does not satisfy me and I didn’t try ZMK’s PS/2 support yet.
Short print times, reuse of parts/material:
This variant is well suited for many use cases, but I went for the next iteration.
